Who We Are

Crook & Nanny Productions makes independent films and offers full production and post-production services for feature narrative, documentary, and commercial projects. We are based in Santa Monica, CA and Asheville, NC.
Collaborators include Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony winners and nominees.
Commercial clients include top-tier international brands in fashion, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and telecommunications.

JOHN ALEXANDER

John Alexander is an Emmy®-winning filmmaker who specializes in directing and editing. He graduated from Harvard University where he was awarded the McCord Arts Prize while studying Linguistics, Dramatic Arts, and Film. John's directorial work has debuted theatrically and aired on national television in numerous countries to critical acclaim. Internationally, he has been invited to film festivals as a jury member and masterclass lecturer. In the United States, John is a voting member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

JC GUEST

JC Guest is a producer and post-production specialist whose work has won awards in North and Central America, Europe, and Asia at major international film festivals, plus an Emmy® award. JC has led masterclasses and workshops in six countries for emerging and veteran industry professionals with the support of public and private organizations including the National Endowment for the Arts in the United States and Ministries of Culture throughout the European Union. She graduated Harvard University in English and Visual Studies.
